An expert in Nano Technology Dr.Murthy exposed the students to the wonders of Nanoscience and Technology. Entitled “Excitements in Nano science and Nanotechnology’’ began on suggestive tone that discoveries and inventions role out of a sense of passion followed by an uncontrollable zeal. Passion for a subject will certainly lead to enjoyment. He also added that students should incultivate reading habits to know more. It is certainly informative to learn that household goods like toothpaste, water cooler and car paints, etc., are all gifts of nano. It is the presence of nano particles that present rusting in iron.
Nano was a technical term coined way back in 1974.Linking nature to nano, objects like the lotus leave, lizards, butterflies have nano spikes and fibres and nano colouring pigments in them.Nano is verymuch popular with the medical field and much research in the way to findout the darkside of nano technology if any.The session concluded with an in reaction between the resource person. |
